Spring has come early to Kentucky. But Nature seems uncertain about how to proceed, speeding up things with warm days in February then slowing down with some short-lived cold snaps in March. Inexorably the grass is awakening displaying a rich, green hue foretelling an explosion of flora color that will soon spread everywhere.
Life as an artist is similar to spring; the timing is mysterious with starts and stops. When do I add a new layer of color? When do I hold back? New color combinations evoke excitement; is it a mystery or mastery?
